| Abstract | The Summary Travel Characteristics publication series contains summary tables of travel statistics for census regions and divisions, States, and metropolitan areas. The tables in this report provide an overview of the findings of the American Travel Survey for each state. Information includes the origin, destination, volume, and characteristics of long-distance travel. Tables 1 through 5 include information for household trips and tables 6 through 15 provide information for person trips. Table 16 provides information about household trips, person trips, person miles of travel, and vehicles miles of travel. |
