Sussman of MIT during the closing plenary session of the Institute of Transportation Engineers 2000 Conference entitled "Transportation Operations - Moving into the 21st Century" on April 5, 2000 in Irvine, CA. Prof. Sussman summarized a set of seven "What Have We Learned from ITS" roundtables at the conference, and identified some recurring themes and trends common to many of the roundtable discussion topics.
