| Abstract | This report documents the methodology and results of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Next Generation 9-1-1 Initiative (NG9-1-1) Proof of Concept (POC) testing. It describes in detail the NG9-1-1 POC test results and provides a baseline for future testing of NG9-1-1 systems. The NG9-1-1 POC demonstration provided a realistic implementation and served as the culmination of previous NG9-1-1 efforts including— NG9-1-1 Concept of Operations (CONOPS) High-Level Requirements document; Interim System Design Document, Human Machine Interface Display Design Document POC Deployment Plan, POC Testing Plan, POC Data Acquisition and Analysis Plan. |
