| Abstract | The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Proof-of-Concept (POC) demonstration will test key features and functionalities of the envisioned NG9-1-1 system. The POC will also serve as a test-bed to validate technical feasibility and acquire important data metrics useful to the greater emergency response community. The POC test-bed equipment will be deployed within the Booz Allen, Texas A&M University, and Columbia University test laboratories and at selected Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP). Data acquisition will require hardware, software, and manual data collection methods. This document describes the data acquisition system, the analysis that will be conducted, and the metrics that will be obtained. |
