Abstract On September 14-15, 2011, the FHWA's Office of Planning and its Office of Safety sponsored a 1.5-day peer exchange to promote the use of GIS and mapping for highway safety applications. This report offers overviews of the presentations given at the peer exchange and the conversations that followed. It concludes with a summary of the discussions resulting from three roundtable discussion questions that were posed to the group
