Abstract The objective of this task is to conduct performance testing of FDR materials, including: modulus of rupture, dynamic modulus, and repeated load triaxial tests. FDR materials studied include cement, fly ash, asphalt emulsion, and foamed asphalt. Modulus of rupture tests were conducted on cement and fly ash stabilized base materials, whereas dynamic modulus and repeated load triaxial tests were conducted on asphalt emulsion and foamed asphalt stabilized base materials. The optimum mixtures used in this study were determined from the previous task (Task 4: Development of FDR Mix Design Guide). The results show that the three types of tests conducted were viable means of evaluating the FDR stabilized base material.
