| Abstract | The MOD 7 Airport Noise Prediction Model is fully operational. The language used is Fortran, and it has been run on several different computer systems. Its capabilities include prediction of noise levels for single parameter changes, for multiple changes, and for an entire airport's operations. Some of the single parameters include: type of aircraft, flight paths, speed, thrust, and noise abatement procedures. (Portions of this document are not fully legible) |
