| Abstract | A "Conference on Navigation in Transportation" was held at the Transportation Systems Center, Cambridge, Massachusetts on September 19-21, 1978. The underlying theme of the Conference was the current status and utility of civil navigation systems such as VOR/DME, LORAN-C, OMEGA, and GPS (Global Positioning system). Applications of these navigation systems to user groups with diverse requirements - air, marine, and landbsed - were addressed. |
