Abstract An eight-passenger Uniflo vehicle was tested to 30 ft/sec on enclosed guideway through curved straight and switch sections. The following parameters were measured: ride quality, as 3 axis acceleration; noise emission as perceived by passengers and in area near guideway, vehicle acceleration and service braking, switch response time, levitation air flow and power requirements, propulsion air flow and power requirements, and performance and reliability between -20F and +90F.
