| Abstract | An assessment of Self-Service Fare collection (SSFC) equipment was conducted for two light rail transit (LRT) systems in the Canadian cities of Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta province. The purpose of the assessment was to create a basis of comparison for new and planned SSFC systems in the United States by using the experience of these well established and successful systems in these two Canadian cities. |
