| Abstract | The purpose of the study was to attempt to assess the adequacy of the diesel engine exhaust chemical composition data base and instrumental analysis methods for the measurement of chemicals giving rise to sensory response, especially odor and irritation. The review would then constitute the basis for recommendations as to areas for future research. |
