| Abstract | During the period between November 1971 and june 1972, one hundred forty-four retread tires were nondestructively tested, run on a standard FMVSS 109 wheel test, re-examined by nondestructive means, and analytically sectioned. The report describes this work and relates, statistically, the flaws found with propensity of the tires to fail. |
