| Abstract | DYNALIST, a computer program that extracts complex eigenvalues and eigenvectors for dynamic systems described in terms of matrix equations of motion, has been acquired and made operational at TSC. In this report, simple dynamic systems are used to define the DYNALIST terminology. Input parameters required to model a rail vehicle are described. Preparation of a card deck to run the program is detailed. The program output is examined in terms of an application to a hunting analysis of a rail vehicle. |
