| Abstract | This circular is a reissuance of guidance on the administration of the transit assistance program for nonurbanized areas under Section 18 of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as amended, and guidance for the preparation of grant applications. This revision incorporates current statutory and programmatic requirements and includes changes based on the Surface Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act of 1987 and the "Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State and local Governments" published in the Federal Register on March 11, 1988. |
