Abstract The performing organization, on behalf of the FHWA Office of Planning, Environment, and Realty, conducted a benefit-cost assessment of programmatic agreements and approaches. The assessment consisted of a case study approach that evaluated three agreement types within seven States. The results of the analysis indicate that programmatic agreements and approaches are advantageous methods for streamlining process and generating time and cost savings for stakeholders.
