| Abstract | The Enhanced Traffic Management System (ETMS) has the role of providing information to FAA traffic managers and to National Airspace System (NAS) users so that they can make decisions that lead to the NAS operating in a safe and efficient manner. To fulfill this role, ETMS integrates data from a wide variety of sources. One area where data has traditionally been lacking, however, is the airport surface. Therefore, AUA-740 directed the Volpe Center to begin the process of prototyping the integration of surface data into ETMS. |
