| Abstract | The purpose of the present study is to identify and to develop cost-effective procedures for improving the statistical accuracy of VMT estimates developed by State, county and metropolitan traffic data collection agencies for the local functional systems. These procedures should be appropriate for developing statewide estimates of VMT on local rural roads and local urban streets. |
