| Abstract | This peer exchange brought together public and private organizations to discuss the state of the practice and possible future uses of UAS in the field of highway operations, construction, and maintenance. States that have implemented UAS programs have found that the use of drones can save time and money, and increase safety and efficiency. Each of the State DOTs is approaching the introduction and use of drone technology differently depending upon the structure of the State DOT. |
