Abstract The primary objective of this synthesis was to identify different available methods that use inertial profilers to quantify ride quality at bridge approaches. To understand current quantification techniques, this TechNote includes information and research found on the current status of the BEB issue. Information collected through this synthesis effort will facilitate successful completion of future data analyses of numerous bridges.
