| Abstract | The Safety Performance Management Measures regulation requires State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) to establish targets for five safety performance measures to support the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). As State DOTs, MPOs, and other safety stakeholders begin to coordinate and collaborate to establish CY 2018 HSIP targets, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) offers many training opportunities, tools, and capacity building resources. |
