| Abstract | The Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) was established under the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) and continued under the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST), (23 USC §204). The program makes funds available for projects that provide access to, are adjacent to, or are located within Federal Lands. Priority shall be given to projects accessing high-use Federal recreation sites or Federal economic generators, as identified by the Secretaries of the appropriate Federal land management agencies. |
