Abstract The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) initiated the National Dialogue on Highway Automation (National Dialogue) workshop series. The National Dialogue was a series of meetings held across the country to facilitate information sharing and to engage the transportation community in a conversation focused on how to integrate automated vehicles into the road network safely and efficiently. This document summarizes the key themes discussed among participants from the November 2018 National Dialogue workshop held in Dallas, Texas.
