Abstract This report presents the findings of a transit feasibility analysis conducted for the Triple Crown area of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in southwest Virginia. This analysis considers the feasibility of operating a shuttle service to one or more of the trailheads of the Triple Crown through an analysis of five potential transit shuttle service scenarios, including analyses of cost considerations and potential ridership demand for potential shuttle service.
