| Abstract | If we proceed to use a multi-resolution cellular automata approach to representing traffic in simulation, we must consider this general issue of implicit characteristics, which encapsulates a number of particular issues like driver reaction time delays. This paper is intended to motivate these issues, and introduce some approaches to creating multi-resolution cellular automata with this issue in mind. |
