Abstract	Described is the development of a standard production line of four and six-axled Diesel-powered hydraulic-drive multiple-purpose swivel-truck locomotives with power capacities ranging from 2000 to 4000 hp. As a sample of this line of production the 3000 hp. Locomotive C C equipped with blower air-cooled engines is described in greater detail and its operational efficiency is demonstrated by means of the test-run results. The ML 3000 is produced by Krauss-Maffei' AG.
