Abstract	THE VIASPAN SYSTEM OF PERMANENT AND PORTABLE FLYOVERS IS DESCRIBED. STRUCTURES USING THIS PRINCIPLE MAY COMBINE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL CURVATURE AND ARE ALSO QUICKLY ERECTED AND DISMANTLED. THE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS ARE PREFABRICATED FROM WELDED MILD STEEL OR H.T.STEEL, EXCEPT THE DECK WHICH CONSISTS OF PRECAST REINFORCED PANELS. IT IS CLAIMED THAT THE BUILDING OF STRUCTURES BASED ON THIS SYSTEM CAN RESULT IN SAVINGS IN CONSTRUCTION AND LAND COSTS. /TRRL/
